Dream Buffet arrives just a few months after Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the latest mainline game in the series. Available exclusively through the Nintendo Switch eShop for 22.50, Kirby’s Dream Buffet is a 4-player competitive game where players will race and battle across food-themed courses. It is fun, and even if you aren’t a huge Kirby fan you can give it a try for free if you like rpgs or just class leveling games in general. Kirbys Dream Buffet is available exclusively as a digital download and costs 15. It was only announced a month ago, but Kirby’s second adorable-looking new video game for the year is out now to download and play on the Nintendo Switch. Since it is free you kind of know what to expect. The graphics are nice, the multiplayer is fun, and the accessories are varied and seem like actual upgrades as you level your role/class. The game is “free to start.” I give an 8 because although it plays like a mobile game, it is still well made. You can buy gem apples if you run out (this is how the game makes money) and the more you buy the more your tree will grow and you’ll get a bigger batch every 12 hours. You get a set amount from your tree every 12 hours. Gem Apples are used to buy weapons, armor, support items, and unlock quests. A timer is on and vigor gradually refills. There’s a “vigor” bar that gets used up as you go on quests.
